Yesterday I took my husband out to eat breakfast for his birthday. Best decision ever. Although it was a busy morning, Maggie made our experience extravagant. She kept her smile the entire time, was super attentive, and even made time to make us laugh a little even though it was busy. It didn’t feel rushed, felt just perfect and special for our little celebration breakfast. Definitely will recommend others to come to this location and refer her because everyone deserves to be taken care by Maggie’s excellent customer service.
Walking into Black Bear Diner is always a great and cheerful experience. The bar is where I find myself at every visit, close to the ‘action! One of our servers, Ariana always greets us with a smile, and welcomes us back like old family every time! She is always friendly , welcoming and goes the extra mile in excellent customer service! Oracio, is very attentive to our needs, and knows us as regulars! Eligio is always cleaning and making sure that everything is clean, shiny and spotless! The chefs in the kitchen never disappoints on the preparation of food! I have not had any bad experiences so far! We like sitting at the bar, because we get to chat with all the servers! BBD is definitely a place to visit for amazing food and service! Every single person working there are hardworking, and friendly. Food is always great, I love their scrambowl, omelettes and their grilled chicken cobb salad. Their burgers are amazing too. Kudos to Ariana, Sarah, Patty, Carolina, Elvia, Oracio, Maggy, Daisy, Alexi, Marco, Maria to name just a few. They always make the visit worthwhile.
When you get out of your car, you are blasted by the smell of greatness and I mean that literally your mouth is immediately watering from the smell of the food that you are about to get to enjoy you step inside. Yes it’s busy. You might have to wait a little bit but the whole time you get to spend talking to your family and enjoying each other‘s company while you wait and your mouth is watering so that when you do get to the table and you finally get to look at the menu. You are just ready to eat. The service was absolutely fantastic. My wife even forgot to tell them no tomatoes and they corrected it immediately for her. No questions asked then the food got there and let me tell you I got the New York steak and eggs. It was literally mouthwatering. It made you not even want to swallow the steak and just enjoy the juices and the flavor that was coming out of it absolutely one of the best stakes I’ve ever had my wife got. The breakfast melt, and she said that it was the best sandwich she has ever eaten. This place is absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone we went as far as even tipping the whole kitchen staff because the food was just absolutely amazing.
Great menu and good quality food and partitions at a fair price. Our server Ricky was outstanding! He was very attentive and had a great personality. We wish all servers were as good as Ricky! He’s an asset to the establishment and we will be back for sure!
🍳 Breakfast Experience 🍳 I came here with a friend for breakfast and we didn’t have to wait at all. We were immediately seated, which was impressive for a packed Sunday. There was just enough room for the two of us, and that was great. Starving, we asked the waitress for recommendations on the biggest items on the menu and both opted for the Grizzly. It was super yummy, incredibly filling, and offered generous portions for a great value. ✨ Atmosphere and Service ✨ The whole aesthetic of the place was really fun! They did a fantastic job decorating, making it a lively spot to enjoy a meal. The service was fast, and the staff we met were very nice and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and even decorated in a fun way. Overall, it was a great experience, and if I'm back in the area, I'll definitely be coming back again!
This visit we sat on the right side of the diner. Our waitress was Maggie. She was friendly and provided great customer service as usual. The grits needed to be cooked a little longer, they were a little crunchy. And so did the red potatoes. I asked for eggs scramble hard. When the order came the eggs were fried well. She checked on us frequently. Front of the house was great. Back of the house seemed new.
Service was impeccable. Our first time visiting on New Year's Day and everyone from the front reception to our waitress and cooks did an Amazing job. We will definitely be back. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Black Bear Diner has a nice rustic aesthetic. Comfy seating and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Daisy was very quick and kind, on top of everything! I ordered the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and biscuits. It was more than filling! The steak was very tender and flavorful, the hash browns had great flavor and were crunchy outside and soft in the middle. I ordered my eggs over easy, they were perfect. Biscuits were very soft! Some of the best I've ever had. Gravy was very nice, ordered more just to smother. My meal was only $21! Definity will be back again!
